The SlimLine 38 is a system that combines elegance and comfort with a unique design. This thin steel finish is the perfect solution for modern architecture and the renovation of steel windows, respecting the original design, but offering a better thermal solution.
The SL 38 is available in three minimalist designs, Classic, Ferro and Cubic, to fit perfectly with the architectural appearance of the building. Windows and doors can be fitted with double and triple windows.
Combined with its superior insulation capabilities, the system provides the perfect harmony between durable material, clean design and demanding architectural challenges.

Technical specifications for SlimLine 38

ENERGY
Thermal Insulation: Coefficient of thermal insulation Uf up to 1.7 W / m²K depending on the frame / ventilation combination and glass thickness.
Uw less than 1.4 W / m²K for a standard section of windows (1.23 m x 1.48 m window width, 1.1 W / m²K glass).
The Uf value measures the heat flow on the window frame. The lower the Uf value, the better the thermal insulation of the frame. The Uw value measures the heat flow with the applied glass.

COMFORT
Acoustic performance: 38 (-1; -4) dB / 45 (-1; -5) dB, depending on the type of glass.
The Sound Reduction Index (Rw) measures the sound reduction capacity of the frame.
Air tightness (max test pressure): 600 Pa
The air tightness test measures the volume of air that would pass through a closed window at a certain air pressure.
Water tightness: 9A (600Pa)
The water tightness test involves the application of a uniform water spray to the increase of the air pressure until the water penetrates the window.
Wind resistance (max. Test pressure): 1600 Pa
Wind resistance (frame deformation): C (≤ 1/300)
Wind resistance is a measure of the strength of the profile structure and is tested by applying elevated air pressure levels to simulate wind force. There are up to five levels of wind resistance (1 to 5) and three classes of deformation (A, B, C). The higher the number, the better the performance.

SAFETY
Burglar resistance: RC2
Anti-burglary resistance is tested by statistical and dynamic loads as well as by simulated discontinuation of the use of specified instruments.
Fire resistance: EW30
Fire resistance class EW 30: The integrity and radiation insulation of the element is guaranteed for 30 minutes.
